Hi, all!
Sorry I haven’t been around as much to comment lately . . . A LOT of stuff happening. A big part of that is three kids, ages 13, 12, and 9, moved in with us last Tuesday. Helping five kids with homework takes a lot of internet time away, lol.
But I wanted to share something exciting! Florida Weekly interviewed me for their paper last week. You can see the online version here.
I like that I’m above all those best sellers, hahaha!
What have you been up to? Hope to catch up soon 🙂
Truly, you are an angel on Earth. Why all the kiddies in the house? Did I miss a blog post somewhere? Foreign Exchange students?
No, they are homeless right now, along with their mom, so we took them in and told them they can stay with us until Nov. 20th . . . when we get kicked out of our own house 😦 Foreclosure finally went through.
Oh, Jamie, that sucks for you about the house, but what a wonderful, sweet soul you are for taking them in. You are an angel.
That’s awesome! Off to read…
Thanks, Captain!
I was wondering the same as kford. Where did all the kids come from? You do have your hands full. And now, off to the interview!
Yes! The carpooling to everyone’s school and the homework and the cooking for 8 people . . . I’ve never been so tired, lol.
Congrats! That’s exciting about the new kids in your house. Excited for you.
Thanks . . . it’s been interesting, never a dull moment!
Great article… but you have an even greater soul.
I’ll be pulling on Poppa God’s sleeve for all of you.
…I’m good at prayer and begging is my specialty. 🙂
I’m sure He has a mighty fine plan in the works for you right this very minute. 😉
Thanks! I think God delights in His children tapping on His shoulder and reminding Him about other people’s needs more than our own ❤ Give and it will be given to you!!
I am over-the-top happy for you, Jamie. It’s a great article. Don’t fret about not always being around to comment or post, your path is set and your journey filled with lots of wonderful things to come. It is said that God does not give us more to handle than He knows we can accomplish. In your life, that could become a mantra. Enjoy the kids and this time of your life 🙂
Thanks for understanding, Florence, and amen ❤
Oooh, you’re famous! The kids will keep it real for you, though. LOL! Congrats on the article, Jamie 🙂
